2nd Croatian Conference on Liver and Infection
We are pleased to invite you to the 2nd Croatian conference on Liver and infection which will be held on the island of Brač, Croatia, October 5 – 7, 2023.
After three years of COVID-19 pandemic, the liver diseases did not go away, but they reemerged in new ways. The knowledge on liver inflammation and its role in infections significantly increased. There is growing evidence that fatty liver disease is associated with worst outcomes not only in COVID-19, but in a growing list of infections, including community acquired pneumonia, skin and urinary tract infections and sepsis. Unfortunately, virial hepatitis A to E are still around and WHO elimination plan seems to be reality only for seldom countries. In 2022, new non-A non-E hepatitis emerged in pediatric population.
We cordially invite you to our congress that will gather experts from different scientific areas of diagnostics and treatment of liver inflammatory diseases. We have planned interactive workshops and plenary lectures which constitute unique platform for exchanging experiences and improvement of clinical practice.
Looking forward to welcoming you in Brač,
Prof. dr. sc. Adriana Vince
